Hmmm ... not so quick. Why should the mere fact of reading express consciousness?

In fact, I think most would agree that reading implies the opposite: I just may not understand or even recognize what I have read! Whether one commonly call this forgetting or appeals to a theory of the unconscious and calls it with Freud repression, is up to the reader.

But if I am honest, what resists the various pop-psychologies of consciousness, meditation, and thought, is a kind of forgetting, laziness , or even sleep that the body imposes when trying to read.

In fact, I am beginning to get drowsy now without my coffee …
