Hmmm … well, it depends on how you define the truth. If someone views the truth scientifically as a correspondence to the facts, then it is possible, but naive, to view the Kavanaugh confirmation as more about fiction/power and outside the truth. But if the truth is never arrived at directly, if truth always proceeds dimly through a veil of deception and power, then the Kavanaugh hearing is a fine lesson in the truth.

The problem is whether anyone is there to receive or transmit such lessons today.
