So, I do not often clap for articles here on Medium … but just thinking to write about what you are trying to say merited it. But I have a comment, it seems to me on several points you are conflating contingency with possibility. If I had to guess, which is only a guess since the article does not make this clear, what you are calling ‘objective’ contingency is possibility. It would help, in any case, to make this distinction clearer perhaps with reference to a modal logic.

In any case, just a grain of salt …
