Thanks for a summary of the biological speculations on the etiology of Alzheimer’s, but isn’t this account forgetting the environmental factors?

Here is another descriptive that does not rely upon a biological basis: Alzheimer’s is the last phase of a psychosis that usually begins with a kind of Autism in the patient’s youth then progresses through Paranoia in midlife and is achieved in Alzheimer’s. Structurally, the causality of all three can be studied ensemble and can be most readily identified with socio-economic factors in the life of the individual.

There are many studies to support such a trajectory, all one need do is google the keywords.
